Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask Review

“Our skin can often become congested with many cleansing masks over drying the face. This mineral-rich oceanic clay mask contains a negative electrical charge which acts like a magnet, helping to draw deep-rooted impurities out of the skin without drying. Its hydrating and oil absorbing properties leave skin soft, smooth and wonderfully cleansed.”

Ingredients:

Sea silt (Natural oceanic clay), Aqua (Water), Potassium sorbate, Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, Salix nigra (Willow) bark extract

Here is another product I got in my J'Adore Vox Box from Influenster.  It's the Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask When I used this mask I noticed that it was slightly smelly.  It had a very nice tingle to it.  I like that about a mask…I feel like the product is really doing it’s job.  And when the tingle goes away you know it's dry and ready to wash off.  It did leave my skin feeling smooth but I felt like I needed a moisturizer after rinsing off.  The next day skin was slightly oily.  I used the mask again the next week but only as a spot treatment.  For this I feel that the product works very well.  I will continue to use this product along with my other facial washes and scrubs.  Let me know your thoughts and experience with this mask.

Red Rose Simply Indulgent Tea Review

Red Rose Simply Indulgent Teas and single serve cups are new, handcrafted black teas blended with specially developed natural flavor extracts. These blends marry high-quality tea standards with premium natural flavors.”

I received some tea samples in my J’Adore Vox Box.  I was very happy to see tea in my box and was even more delighted that the flavor was Crème Caramel.
“Leaves from the world's finest tea estates are masterfully blended with the luscious and natural flavor of sweet caramel. In one sip, your taste buds will experience the layers of rich flavor and an aroma that will comfort through the very last drop.”

This statement could not be truer!  The caramel taste is not over powering or too sweet.  It’s just the right amount of deliciousness.  If you are one who likes milk in your tea as well as caramel…then you have to try this one out.  The Crème Caramel can be bought from the Red Rose website for $4.99 for a box of 20 individually wrapped tea bags.  Check them out if you’re a tea lover…they have all kinds of teas from black teas to loose teas and even organic teas.

Birthday Behavior

Well...another birthday in the books! Blessed to be healthy, have my family and they are healthy, awesome friends that are healthy too. I'm grateful for everything that I have...and can't wait to see what another year of being 30 brings. That's right...I'm 30 again and will continue to be 30 until I don't look 30 anymore lol. Just a few collages from the month and how I celebrated my birthday.

Vanity

The hubby and I took a quick road trip to Atlantic City this past weekend for a friends birthday party/masquerade ball at the Revel.  I had a little bit of a tough time finding a dress that I was comfortable with wearing as I have gained a little bit of weight lately.  But I found this super cute black lace and cream dress in the juniors section in Macys.  I was a little self conscious as the dress was a body con dress...but I put on my spanks and paired it with some plain mary jane type patent leather pumps and thought I looked pretty hot for my date night!

Because we checked into the hotel a little early and had some time to relax I was able to take a little more time with my makeup.  I went back and forth in my mind as to what look I wanted...black smoky eye...or a nice neutral eye.  So I mixed the two and I love how this neutral yet smoky look turned out.  I used my Wet N' Wild vanity palette for this look and paired it with a nude lip.  I was kind of feeling myself a bit this night lol.  Below is a list of everything I used.

On the eyes:
NYX brow pencil in dark brown
Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer to clean up brow area and to conceal under eyes
Wet n' Wild Vanity 6 shadow eyeshadow palette
ELF 6 pan palette (the black in the smoky palette to deepen the outer-v)
Wet n' Wild gel liner in black
Rimmel London day to night mascara
Red Cherry Lashes #43

On the face:
MAC studio fix powder foundation NC43
Ruby Kisses mineral powder in Cognac to contour
Milani blush in Mai-Tai
ELF Healthy glow bronzing powder in Warm Tan

On the lips:
