Hello World!  I know it's been a little bit since I've blogged but a mommy's work is never done :)  On Sunday I went to the Redskins game with my booskies and might I say we had a good ole time.  We tailgated...well, bougie tailgated lol  We got some wings and sides from Wegmans and set up our tent in the parking lot and enjoied the sights.  Uh no...we were not breaking out a grill and cooking food and then trying to take it all down...no way!  Can you imagine 4 pretty ladies trying to tailgate for real??? lol  But hey, we made it look good and that's all that matters.  So, while I was getting ready I decided to go ahead and film my makeup look for the day.  I used the ELF 100 color palette for this look and one of my new favorite lipglosses...the NYX round lipgloss in Natural.  Hope you enjoy!

NYX "Over The Rainbow" Eyeshadow Set from HauteLook.com

HauteLook.com had a sale recently on NYX cosmetics.  There were so many things I wanted to buy, but I had to keep my composure lol.  I ordered the "Over the Rainbow" eyeshadow set.  These colors are absolutely beautiful!!!  Take a look at the video and I'll post swatches below.  Enjoy!

I did an E.L.F. Haul a while back and I got 10 of their mineral eyeshadow pigments free with my purchase. I think I have finally used all the colors I got. Check out the video for the mineral pigments that I got. Enjoy!!!

TAG: Desert Island Lips

"If you could only have one lipstick or gloss for the rest of your life what would it be?"

This is a TAG:

You are going to be cast away on a desert island, but you must maintain your fabulousness. The trick is, it can only be a lip product. What ONE lip colour could you happily live with for the rest of your days? This isn’t about your favourite or what’s haute at the moment. It should be something that doesn’t require lip liner or mixing with some other colour to make it look good. This should be a colour that you don’t have to think twice about because you know it will never fail to make you look flirty, bold or seductive every time you wear it. What would it be?

Here are the rules:

1.  Choose your Desert Island Lip colour (lipstick, stain, lip pencil, OR gloss). Only one, please.

2.  Tell us why you’ve picked it (what makes it special, timeless, or the bomb)

3.  Post a photo of yourself wearing the lipstick . The photo should be your full face

Foundation/concealer/powder

Groomed brows

Desert Island Lip product

So, my homegirl Shana Janelle tagged me with this awesome challenge.  Now, my lip product would be my Victoria's Secret lip gloss in Lotta Colada. I chose this because it can be worn with just about anything. It's a shimmery peach colored gloss that gives your lips a flirty kind of shine but not overpowering. I love pairing it with Mac's Chestnut lipliner, but for this...just the gloss. If I go out and don't have a mirror handy, I don't have to worry if it's all over my face because the tube has that lipstick type angle and it goes on smooth. I also love it because it's not sticky like a lot of glosses...plus it smells and tastes (don't judge me lol) like piña colada.  (I just got out the shower, so please ignore my robe and wet hair lol)

So yesterday I had a little makeup session with my girls ShanaJanelle and FancyLibra. Let me tell you...we had a good time all while learning a lot about makeup. Here is the look that I did yesterday at our session. This is my very first tutorial so to speak and I am still very nervous about folks reactions to my videos. I haven't posted any of the other videos to my blog either for the same reason.
